Summary of Records
Scope and Content
This series contains two separate scrapbooks relating to Governor Maw and his administration. The first scrapbook contains newspaper clippings associated with the Governor's campaign and election, his inauguration ceremony and some of the activities of his administration between 1941 and 1943. The second scrapbook details Utah's part in the national rationing effort during World War II. Clippings detail efforts made by both the citizens of Utah, and their government to ration certain critical items including food, gas and rubber.
