Scope and Content
This series is a compilation of various events that took place during and before Governor Bamberger's term. It contains records of miscellaneous correspondence, appointments, Indian War Veterans fund, and land settlement records. It also consists of microfilmed scrapbooks of newspaper clippings of Bamberger's political happenings, prohibition, World War I, agriculture, coal shortage, railroads, and other events during his term. This series gives a taste of the important political issues facing Governor Bamberger.

Water rights and irrigation records from the Governor Bamberger, Series 185, contain additional information on obtaining irrigable land for returning soldiers.
Indian War veterans' fund records from the Board of Examiners, Series 323, contain papers relating to the distribution of pension funds to Indian War Veterans or their widows.
Coal shortage investigation records from the Governor Bamberger, Series 21962, include more information relating to the coal shortage.
