Summary of Records
Scope and Content
The Utah School Finance Program provides funds for a number of special programs for the improvement of education in Utah's public schools. The report is prepared primarily for the State Legislature but is also useful to educators and patrons interested in school improvement programs. The reports contain information pertaining to regional service centers; experimental schools and programs; career development (dropout prevention); teacher leadership and distinguised service; community school programs; compensatory education; elementary school guidance; extended year, day and summer programs; instructional media centers; elementary school music; gifted and talented students; economic and free enterprise program; responsible parenthood;and state bilingual education.
