Summary of Records

The State Planning Board gathered studies of industrial resources, raw materials, employment, payroll, labor, manufacturing, economics, and transportation rates to supply both the private and public interests with information on possible sites for location of industry and for development programs to increase industry. Reports on the following subjects are included in this series: beet sugar industry, cheese making, tanning hides, salt production, wine production, honey production, commodities, in general, cooperative marketing, cost of living and wage, economic activities, and resources, income and debt, labor groups, livestock, payroll, commercial trade, land leases, real estate, trade restrictions, industrial movements, worker's compensation, railroad freight weights, and man hour reduction.
