Scope and Content
This series contains a report to Governor Simon Bamberger covering the period from the organization of the board to December 1, 1920. It chronicles the board's activities and financial state.
Administrative records from the Governor Bamberger, Series 183, contains correspondence to board members and to the governor addressing land settlement.
Water rights and irrigation records from the Governor Bamberger, Series 185, includes information on the Water Rights Commission, who were attempting to irrigate arid land for use by returning soldiers.
Public documents serial set from the Secretary of State, Series 240, includes this report as report 27, volume 2 for 1919-1920.
Minutes from the Board of Soldier Settlement, Series 1196, contains minutes of the commission meetings.
Correspondence from the Governor Dern, Series 21963, contains correspondence to board members and to Governor Mabey addressing land settlement.

This series is scheduled following the Utah State Agency General Retention Schedule, 1997 (sched. 1, item 6). Microfilming will not be requested because frequent use is not anticipated. This series was merged with Biennial Reports, 1925-1932, series 2397, because the same single report existed in both series. Processing was done by Wendy Checketts.
