Scope and Content
This series contains the Judgment Dockets produced by the Sixth District Court in Kane County. Dockets function as an agenda for the proceedings of the court, written in abstract or brief form to act as a record of the action relative to each case. The docket generally contains the following information: Plaintiff, Defendant, Nature of the Case, Attorneys for the Plaintiff and Defendant, Case Number, Date and Nature of each action taken in the case, any applicable fees for the action, along with the judge's disposition of the case.

Civil case files from the District Court (Sixth District : Kane County), Series 10570, contains the entire case file relating to the judgments issued in these docket books.

Civil registers of actions from the District Court (Sixth District : Kane County), Series 27770, contains register filings for individual actions related to the case files found in this series.
Judgment record books from the District Court (Sixth District : Kane County), Series 27775, contain the text of judgment rendered in court cases.
These books were physically transferred to the Utah State Archives in September 2011 for processing and microfilming. Once microfilming has been completed the hard copies will be returned to the Sixth District Court office in Kanab.
