Summary of Records

This series contains Navajo language learning aids for teaching Navajo language, history, and culture. The school district created the materials to help preserve indigenous culture among Navajo students. The materials for learning language include pronunciation guides, flashcards, games, picture books and workbooks. Aside from the Navajo language learning materials, there are lessons in math, history, social studies, science, art and music. Those lessons are mostly in English with some Navajo equivalents. The series is grouped by format, including various formats used through the years. Lessons are recorded on reel to reel or cassette tapes with slide shows, as well as CDs and DVDs.
