Salt Lake City School District (Utah). Lowell Elementary School School Registers, 1908-1933

This series contains standard pre-printed booklets used to track the identity, attendance, and academic performance of students at the school. Each teacher at the school typically used one register each year to track his or her class of students. Each register typically provides space to record the name of the school, school year, teachers name and grade or grade levels in the class. They also include such student information as student names, attendance, date of birth, home address, parent's name, academic evaluations, and whether or not the student was promoted to the next grade. The records also include a number of other administrative forms filed with the registers, particularly Pupil's Registration Cards found in a register from the 1919-20 school year. Lowell School was located on 3rd Avenue between D and E Streets.
