Summary of Records

This series contains newsletters published by the County to disseminate information to the public. The newsletter was first started in 2003 and was published alternately under the titles Daggett County Newsletter and Daggett County News until 2018, when it was given the name Flaming Gorge Gazette. The newsletters vary in length from four pages to eighteen pages and have generally been published monthly, although there are considerable gaps in the issues that are available on the County website. The newsletter acts as a kind of newspaper for Daggett County and includes a variety of information about such things as government activities, schools, community celebrations, and obituaries. The newsletters also include such features as event calendars, announcements, advertisements, recipes, and crossword puzzles.
