This series contains photographs, negatives, and slides taken by Hyrum State Park staff and volunteers. The images depict such events, activities, and information as boating, trail maintenance, vandalism, parades, erosion, park personnel, wildlife, accidents, fishing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, facilities, and more.

Scope and Content

This series contains photographs, negatives, and slides taken by Hyrum State Park staff and volunteers. The images depict events and activities held at the park as well as maintenance and facilities projects around the grounds. Specific topics include beaches and beach activities; snowmobiling; fishing and ice fishing; boating; July 4th parades; fundraising runs; bicycle tours; dunk tanks; wildlife; cattle; park camping facilities; vandalism; erosion; trail and building maintenance; accidents and vehicle damage; park personnel; park signage; concrete work; work on gas lines, water lines, and retaining walls; and more.

None.

The photographs in this series were originally given by Hyrum State Park to the Hyrum City Museum. Based on the Museum's records, it does not appear that the collection had an original order and the Museum did not impose an order onto the records. After the images were transferred by Hyrum City Museum to the State Archives, the collection was processed according to MPLP standards and no additional arrangement was imposed.

Custody History

The records in this collection were transferred by Hyrum State Park to the Hyrum City Museum in 2013. They were accessioned into the Museum's permanent collection in 2014. The Hyrum City Museum then transferred the records to the State Archives in February 2021.
