Scope and Content
This series contains a ledger documenting payments made toward a sidewalk paving project by residents of the Providence Paving District 2. The record indicates the name of the resident as well as the date and amount of payment. The ledger also contains correspondence from the bank managing the assessment account as well as warrants documenting money paid by the city treasurer to Thompson & Evans, bank statements, and checks.
