Summary of Records

This series contains a book used to record a ranking of students in each class. Teachers were directed to "list the best all-round pupil first and then work down." Teachers were to note students who had moved and those who had been "discipline problems" during the year. They were also to add special instructions, such as "special placement, directions to separate individuals, or unstable home conditions." The ranking lists were used in determining placement of individual students in the following school year.
