Scope and Content
The preservation files are working files maintained by the staff of the preservation section . Records include correspondence, historic preservation plan, marker type summary, leases and agreements, alphabetical office files, chronical office files, Kent Powell's files (alphabetical), SHPO files, preservation annual reports, research files, general files, NPS budgets, statehood day, and local historical societies.
Administration files from the Department of Community and Culture. Division of State History, Series 3192, contain information related to the Historical Society's preservation section.
Record transfer inventory from the Department of Community and Culture. Division of State History, Series 27468, contains the preservation section files cited in this series.
