Summary of Records

This series contains state plans for mental health services from the Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health.

Scope and Content

This series contains state plans for mental health services. The plans are developed by interagency committees in compliance with federal law. Utah's public mental health system is heavily subsidized by grants from the federal government. However, this funding is contingent upon the periodic development and publication of these statewide comprehensive plans. Some preliminary reports prepared by various task forces are also included in the series.
