Change of Venue and Other Announcements for Upcoming Electronic Records Conference!
Just one week until the 2015 Electronic Records Conference! Â We are excited to see all 250+ of you!
Change of Venue
We had to make a change of venue and found a great home for the conference at the Salt Lake Public Library’s Main Branch, 210 E. 400 S., Salt Lake City, 84111. The conference will be held in the Nancy Tessman Auditorium located on the main floor. The auditorium has theater style seating with plenty of arm room.
Conference Program
Excellent presenters all the way around! We are fortunate enough to have presenters from the private sector, governmental entities, and a university. Topics include:
• addressing e-records management needs
• planning and executing the migration of data
• transitioning from paper to electronic records
• preserving permanent electronic records
• determining record format for creation, preservation, and access
The conference begins at 9:30 a.m. and concludes at 3:30 p.m., with lunch from 11:40 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. See the flyer below for details.
Transportation
The TRAX redline stops right in front of the library. There is an open-air parking lot at 400 S. West Temple, near the Courthouse Station TRAX stop (located on Main Street). Parking is $4.00/day and you can catch the redline from the Courthouse Station to the library for free.
The Walker Center Garage is accessible from 29 E. 200 S. or from 174 S. Regent Street. Parking is around $7.00/day and you can catch the TRAX red or blue line southbound from Gallivan Plaza (239 S. Main St.) to the Courthouse Station TRAX stop and then transfer to the redline and take it to the library for free.
Both of these options are open to the general public so parking is on a first-come-first serve basis. There are other parking options in the area, these are just a few convenient ones that we found.
