Interns helping

The Utah State Archives currently works with the following colleges and universities to accept interns:

  • Salt Lake Community College
  • Brigham Young University
  • Brigham Young University - Idaho
  • Utah Valley University

We are more than willing to work with students from other institutions. To do so, we will need the students to make the connection between the State Archives and their institution.

Interns are also assigned a mentor during their time here; this mentor might change depending on the internship requirements. Mentors provide students with discussions related to our field as well as an understanding of best practices, and an opportunity to implement the theoretical learning they are receiving in their field of study.
