Summary of Records
Scope and Content
This series contains the official copies of resolutions adopted by the city council or commission.The resolutions are formal statements of a decision or expression of an opinion by the council. They may sometimes perform a function similar to an ordinance. Resolutions may address such issues as utility rates, municipal service fees, city policies and guidelines, and regulation of the use and operation of municipal property. They often deal with authorizing city officials to act in certain matters and are used as a vehicle for adopting city budgets.
