This series consists of records maintained by the Alayne Peterson, administrative assistant and policy analyst of Governor Leavitt including correspondence, reports, subject files and other records enabling the staff to advise the Governor in setting policy and coordinating the executive branch.

Scope and Content

This series consists of records maintained by the Alayne Peterson, administrative assistant and policy analyst of Governor Leavitt. The documents include correspondence, reports, subject files and other records that enabled the staff to advise the Governor in setting policy and coordinating the executive branch. Alayne Peterson served on Governor Leavitt's staff first as administrative assistant (1993-1997) and then as policy analyst (1998-2001). These records represent material accumulated over the course of Ms. Peterson's tenure in both positions.
A variety of topics and timely issues are represented in the series ranging from homeland security, economic development, education, and administrative initiatives. Notes and correspondence related to numerous political associations are included as an array of subject files.

This series is arranged alphabetically, thereunder by subject.

Original file headings were retained and the files were kept in original order according to the box inventory lists produced by the Governor's office.
