Logan (Utah). Parks and Recreation Cemetery unpaid account records, 1919-1979.

This series contains records of payments for care of cemetery lots and repossession of lots by Logan City. These records were separated from other payment records at some point because owners of the lots were delinquent in payment for care of the lots. Some records document resolution by payment for perpetual care, transfer of the lots to new owners, or repossession by the City. Under Logan City is a list of various lots deeded back to the city. Some of the records show no activity or resolution of payment or ownership. It appears that in the mid-1970's, the cemetery made an effort to clean up their records by repossessing unused spaces in the cemetery for which payment for care had lapsed. Only a few notes were added to the records after the 1970's. Information in the records may include the name and address of the lot owner, location of the lot, date of lot purchase, date of care payments, and notes of ownership transfer or repossession by the City.
