Research Note

This series contains no ordinances for the years 1857 and 1858 or for the years 1860 to 1900.
Designated titles on the ordinance record books were obtained from earlier deaccessioned microfilm copies. Currently, books have been microfilmed one after another without consistent identification.

Arrangement

Roughly chronological to 1923; thereafter no order.

Before 1923 ordinances were recorded in record books in which they were roughly arranged in chronological order. After 1923 ordinances were recorded on loose pages. Ordinances passed 1923-1925 were microfilmed at the end of Ordinance Book 2. Ordinances passed 1926-1956 were microfilmed at the end of all four ordinance books in seemingly random order. In some cases ordinances relating to particular subjects have been grouped together because revisions were filed with the previous ordinance.
