This series contains volumes used to log documents filed in criminal cases before the court. Records and documents pertaining to a particular criminal action are filed together by the court clerk and collectively these documents constitute the case file. As these records or actions are filed, the clerk enters them in the registers which comprise this series. A register of actions typically includes the following information for each case: name(s) of the defendant(s) in the case and a description of the criminal charge, along with a list of documents filed in the case and corresponding filing dates.
