Scope and Content
This series contains name indexes created by the court clerk to aid in locating records of civil cases heard by the court. The indexes list the names of plaintiffs or defendants and give a case number that will assist in locating records of the case in the registers of actions or the case files. Some of the earlier entries in the index list a "suit" number and a "file" number. In those instances the suit number is the relevant number for locating records for the case.
