These are the daily schedules created for Governor Huntsman. They are created to coordinate his activities and obligations efficiently. Each schedule documents the dates, times, type of activities, notations, names of persons or groups with whom he would be meeting, and staff involved. Activities may include business meetings, speeches, or trips.

Each day's schedule records date, times, type of activity, often with notations, names of persons or groups with whom he would be meeting, and staff involved. Activities include business meetings, speeches, special events and trips. The schedules were created and kept electronically using a computer program created by the Governor's information technology staff, though archival holdings include only "hardcopies" released publicly.

In addition, this series contains materials prepared for and used during trade missions and trips. The Governor's staff prepared Briefing Books with a schedule of locations and events, and background information on the people, places and issues for the Governor's reference. The Governor's personal notes are often included. Examples include trade missions to India and Canada, congressional delegations, or "Codels," to United States war zones in Iraq and Afghanistan arranged by U.S. Senator John McCain, and trips to Washington, D.C. to meet with cabinet secretaries and other leaders. Governor Huntsman also embarked on two Rural Road Trips in 2007 and 2008 to visit counties and cities throughout the state. Finally, in May 2006 the President of Mexico, Vicente Fox visited Utah, which resulted in several specially-planned events such as a State Dinner and a State Legislature address, represented here in planning materials retained from the visit.
