Abstract
The Division is concerned with the supervision and enforcement of the laws and programs affecfting all types of livestock in Utah, including regulating public and private forms of acquaculture.
Biography/History Notes
From 1921 until reorganization in 1941 several other programs and functions were consolidated into the division. From 1978-1982 this division was split into 3 agencies: Division of Animal Industry, Division of Animal Identification and Protections, and the Division of Meat Inspection. It was reconstituted as one division in 1982.
