Series 27736 Civil case indexes

This series contains three indexes to civil cases handled by the court. The earliest index covers cases 1-792 and dates from ca. 1900-1916. The smaller index covers from about 1977-1984 and was likely copied, along with other smaller indexes, to create the larger, more comprehensive index that covers from 1954-1990.

This series contains two name indexes to probate cases handled by the court. The first volume appears to have been created in the 1970's based on older records, such as the indexes in the probate registers of action. It indexes the registers of action, providing case numbers, as well as the register and page numbers. The second volume was created in the mid-1980's based on the first volume and records only case numbers. The court continued to add to this second index until 1990.
