This series contains miscellaneous land certificates and land transfer documents created by the Great Salt Lake City Recorder in the earliest settlement in the area. It also has a brief sketch history written by the City Recorder in 1881.

This series contains miscellaneous land certificates and land transfer documents created by the Great Salt Lake City Recorder. The records indicate land sales and transfers of lots in the City plats, as well as lots in the Five-Acre Plat that were apportioned to those who wanted to farm outside of the city limits.
