Scope and Content

This series contains the official records of student enrollment and high school graduation. The transcripts document courses taken, academic evaluations, and credits earned. They may be used by students to document graduation for college admission and employment. The records include transcripts for students who did not graduate, but were enrolled classes for some period of time and in some cases document enrollment in elementary and junior high schools as well. The transcript forms evolved over time and may contains a variety of information, such as student's name, address, birth date , parents' names, lists of high school classes and grades, date of graduation, standardized test scores, grade point average, and social security number. Transcripts from certain periods may also include student birthplace, parents' birthplaces and occupations, names and birth dates of siblings and other family members, record of immunizations and diseases, height and weight measurements, and eyesight test results.

The records appear to be generally organized by the year the student graduated, or would have graduated had he/she continued attending the high school. It is possible that some transcripts are filed with the last year that the student attended the school.

Arrangement

Chronological by year of graduating class, thereunder alphabetical by student name.
