Summary of Records
Scope and Content
This series contains a blueprint set of 15 maps showing plans for an improved municipal water supply system. The set includes two maps giving an overview of the system, including the source of the water supply on Chicken Creek, the location and size of water main pipes, and the location of fire hydrants, valves, tees, etc. The remaining maps, numbered 1-13, are larger scale and show greater detail of the water lines. The maps were drawn for Levan Town by the firm of Caldwell and Richards, Engineers of Salt Lake City, which had been hired by the town to design the system. Over time a few alterations and notations were hand-written on the maps.
