Scope and Content
This series contains sets of architectural and engineering plans for various schools in the district. The plans include drawings for original construction of buildings as well as plans for additions and remodels. The plans are typically blueline or blueprint copies of the originals and were given to the school district as documentation of what was to be built under contract with the architect and general contractors. The district would have used the plans to monitor construction and as reference for building maintenance over the years. The plans typically include drawings showing such views as perspective renderings, floor plans, interior and exterior elevations, construction details, electrical plans, and mechanical plans. One plan in the series is identified as being for the Larsen School in the Nebo School District. The reason for the Provo School District to have a copy of that plan is unknown.
