Scope and Content
This series contains wills filed with the District Court as part of the process of probating estates of deceased persons. The wills are legal instruments that outline the wishes of an individual for the distribution of his/her possessions and assets in the event of his/her death. The wills typically designate an executor to oversee execution of the will, outline how property is to be distributed, and include signatures of witnesses. The wills are not filed as part of the probate case, but are filed separately as related documents.
