Nebo School District (Utah). Payson District School Register, 1900-1901

This series contains a single Utah School Register, published as a tool for recording information about students, tracking attendance, and noting scholastic performance. This particular register was used by teacher Frank Fairbanks, who taught the 5th and 6th grades. Information recorded about the students included name, age, color, parent, place of residence, and number of years the student did not attend school since age six. Mr. Fairbanks recorded student attendance, but did not use the book for recording academic evaluations. The book also includes some notes about holidays and times of quarantine, as well as a register of visitors to the class.
