Scope and Content
This series contains the official records of the proceedings of regularly scheduled, special and emergency council meetings. Includes date, time, and place of meeting, name of members in attendance and those absent, a record of subjects discussed, statements of intent, and a record of action taken. Topics addressed in meeting cover the full range of city business, including the city budget, city ordinances, business licensing, zoning, policing, and improvements in public services such as street repairs.
Research Note
When these records came to the State Archives in 2016 the minute books from 1916-1937 were missing. Those books had been lost prior to 1978, when the minutes were first microfilmed.
