Summary of Records
Scope and Content
This is an alphabetical index of companies incorporated to do business in the State of Utah and was created by the Division of Corporations to facilitate access to the Incorporation Case Files. The series provides the name of the incorporation and case file number and was compiled from a list of corporations that were suspended in 1910 for failure to pay annual license taxes.
Research Note
This series does not contain a complete listing of all corporations filed with the state over time. Researchers should consult the various indexes and card files to find the case number of the corporation they are researching.

Incorporation records and indexes were first scheduled as permanent in 1978. The entire series was archivally processed by David Clark in July 1999.
