Summary of Records
Scope and Content
This series consists of numerous audiovideo segments that document the 16-month administration of Governor Walker. Highlights include Walker's transition ceremony, monthly press conferences, speeches, and appearances on local television newscasts. The local news clips were compiled by a clipping service as they were aired on local television stations and subsequently edited and organized by month and year. They document the regional media's coverage of events and activities throughout Governor Walker's time in office. A foldout description accompanies each of the news clip tapes and lists the specific contents for each tape.
All videos are directly related to the Governor, her initiatives, programs, and office administration. The majority of the videos are in VHS format unless otherwise specified. As noted in the container list, two of the items in box three are in different formats (BETA tape, DVD).
