Morgan (Utah)

This series contains a single ledger book used to record a variety of information. The first section of the book contains an accounting record of payments apparently received by the Morgan City Power Department for 1956. The book was also used to list burials in the two city cemeteries for a time and to record payments for cemetery plots. The Power Department financial records typically list the name of the person or entity making payment, payment date, and the payment amount. The alphabetical burials list records the name of the deceased, birth and death dates, and burial location. The cemetery lot purchase records include the name of the purchaser, purchase amount, amount paid, purchase date, and balance due.
