Scope and Content

This series contains a petition submitted to the mayor and city council by owners of lots in the South Morgan Cemetery. The petition requests that the city improve the condition and maintenance of the cemetery by making an assessment on lot owners to establish perpetual care and that future sale of lots be at a price to support perpetual care for the cemetery. The petition is signed by 32 lot owners.
