This series contains a ledger used by the treasurer to track money to be paid by the county to employees and other entities, and money owed to the county, listed as credits and debits. The ledger typically lists a date, along with a description of the person or entity owed or owing money. Sometimes there is a description of exactly what the money was for, but often there is no explanation. The record was used just to record money owed, but to record when payments were actually made.
