GRAMA and Open Government

Government records belong to the citizens of the state and they have a legal right to open and fair access. The State Archives represents a public trust upon which our democracy depends and provides transparency and accountability in government. We work to ensure that the essential evidence of government is created, maintained for as long as needed, and is available to the citizens of the state and to the public in general.
