Abstract

The Box Elder School district was conceived on May 10, 1907, when more than forty progressive citizens petitioned the Board of County Commissioners to consolidate the county schools. The consolidation became a reality when commissioners passed an ordinance on June 20, 1907. The mission of Box Elder School District is to provide all community members learning opportunities which develop the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to become contributing members of society; and do this by utilizing available resources and creating productive partnerships.

Box Elder County School District provides public education for students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. District offices are located in Brigham City, Utah.
