This series contains certificates from the Boards of Examiners in Optometry and in Dentistry that were filed with the County Clerk. Starting in 1894,the Utah Legislature passed a law requiring dentists to obtain a certificate in order to legally practice in their professsion. This same requirement was established for Optometrists in 1907.
