District Court (First District : Rich County) Criminal register of actions
This series contains a register book documenting actions in criminal cases heard by the court and recorded by the court clerk. This register of action contain such information as the names of defendants, nature of crimes, and filing dates for any associated affidavits, warrants, orders of transfer, bail bonds, appeals, motions, orders from the court, findings, and judgments.
District Court (First District : Rich County) Civil case index
This series contains an alphabetical name index to civil cases heard by the court. The index was created to facilitate clerical management of and access to case files. The index contains plaintiff name, defendant name, and case file number.
District Court (First District : Rich County) Civil and probate case indexes
This series contains alphabetical name indexes to civil and probate cases heard by the court. These indexes were created to facilitate clerical management of and access to case files. They contain the names of parties involved, the type of case, and case file number. As per Utah Code 78B-6-141 adoption records are sealed for 100 years and open only by court order.
District Court (First District : Rich County) Probate case index
This series contains an alphabetical name index to probate cases heard by the court. The index was created and maintained by the First District Court in Rich County after statehood, but includes cases heard by the County Probate Court during the territorial period prior to 1896. Matters of probate include estates of deceased persons, guardianship of minors and people deemed incompetent, and adoptions. This index contain such information as the names of involved parties, the type of probate case, and the case number. As per Utah Code 78B-6-141 adoption records are sealed for 100 years and open only by court order.
