Summary of Records
Scope and Content
This series contains document cards arranged alphabetically for companies incorporated to do business in the State of Utah and was created by the Division of Corporations and Commercial Code to facilitate access to the Incorporation Case Files. The series provides corporation name, corporation case file number, original filing date, amount of capital stock, where incorporated, principal officers, amendments, and dissolution.
Research Note
This series does not contain a complete listing of all corporations filed with the state over time. Researchers should consult the various indexes and card files to find the case number of the corporation they are researching.
Arrangement
Alphabetical by corporation name.
These cards are arranged alphabetically by corporation name. The alphabetization ignores "and" and "&." For example, "A C Corporation" would precede "A & F" or "A and G Corporation."
