Summary of Records

This series contains information and materials about Utah and its history collected and compiled by the school district as a resource to support the Utah history curriculum in the schools. The resources include books, pamphlets, and flyers outlining various aspects of Utah history, geography, industry, scenic attractions, and reclamation projects. Some of the information was apparently compiled and printed by the school district, but many of the items are publications from such entities as the Utah Tourist and Publicity Bureau and the Bureau of Land Management. The series constitutes a resource kit and includes an inventory of items in the and where copies of each item could be obtained. It appears that the series acted as a master file for resource kits that could be provided to teachers to assist them in teaching Utah history. In addition to the items listed in the inventory, the series also includes a number of other publications that were probably added after the inventory was compiled.
