Scope and Content
This series contains proof of publication notices for public meetings and hearings, ordinances, resolutions, city job openings, and other official local government functions requiring notification of the public for regulatory, transparency, or legal reasons. The notices are mostly one of two types: either a typed copy of the notice needing publication along with an information sheet from city staff with the name and date of the notice and the requested publication date; and/or a clipping or copy of the published notice itself along with an affidavit from the newspaper noting the publication dates and newspaper name, signature of the paper's editor, and signature and stamp of the notary public who notarized the proof.
