Summary of Records
Scope and Content
This series contains resolutions passed by the Taylorsville city council used to document the will of the council regarding a given topic. Such topics include adjusting municipal boundaries; budgets and adjustments; grant applications and acceptance of awarded funds; authorizing the city's purchase of goods, land, or services; housing; community development; interlocal agreements; and a variety of other subjects. The records for each resolution contain the body of text outlining the resolution itself, a certificate of posting, the results of the council's vote, and, for approved resolutions, signatures of city officials include the mayor and recorder. Resolutions that were denied are stamped as such. Resolutions are numbered according to the year they were passed and the order in which they were created within that year.

Records in this series dating 2001-2007 were transferred by Taylorsville to the State Archives in May 2021. Records dating 1995-2000 and 2008-2019 were transferred by Taylorsville to the State Archives in April 2022.
