Grand County (Utah). County Treasurer Warrant registers, 1923-1959.

This series contains registers used to track warrants issued for payment of county expenses. The older register, used from 1934 to 1939, contains a periodic record of outstanding warrants that had not been redeemed. The later register, dating from 1956-1959 is a complete listing of warrants issued. The registers include such information as the entity to whom the warrant was issued, what the payment was for, warrant number, amount, date redeemed, and the account from which payment was made. The older register was initially intended as register of cash receipts and was used for that purpose from 1934 to 1939. That portion of the register includes such information as the entity from whom payment was received, what payment was for, payment amount, and the fund to which it was credited.
