Summary of Records
Scope and Content
This series contains newspapers produced by the school journalism program with a staff of student editors, writers, and photographers. The newspaper covers events and activities at the school, as well as editorials and jokes. The paper was supported by advertisements from local businesses. The newspaper began publishing in 1944 and carried the name "Warrior's Trumpeter." The archives holds two copies of the 7 March 1952 edition of the paper. The copies were found in a yearbook that belonged to Trilba Lindsay and may have been saved because she was quoted in that edition.

The newspaper editions from 7 March 1952 in the Archives collection came to the Archives with yearbooks that had belonged to Trilba Lindsay and were donated by the LDS Church History Library in December 2021.
