Scope and Content
The record books in this series document punishments administered to inmates at the Utah State Prison. The registers are organized by chronological entry and include the date, prisoner name, prisoner number, the nature of the punishment administered, prison personnel responsible for confinement, and the date of prisoner release. Researchers should note that the content in book 3 duplicates most (if not all) of the entries in book 2.
