Heber City (Utah) Financial records, 1930-1969.

This series contains financial records kept by the city. These records primarily relate to the documentation and management of the city's budget; the tracking of checks, claims, and accounts paid by the city; and receipts kept documenting the city's financial business. Information includes the name of the person or business the city was paying and from which account the money was coming. Also included are warrant registers which track checks paid by the city, including the name of the person or business to which the check was given as well as the account from which the money was drawn. Also included are materials related to the creating of the city's budget, and correspondence from the City Treasurer.

The ledger of claims paid by the city contains such information as the claim number, the name of the person or business with which the claim was settled, the account from which the funds paid came, the date the claims were settled, and the signatures of either/both the city mayor and recorder.

Two different ledgers contain breakdowns of the city's cash in the bank and includes such information as the amount of debits, credits, and balances of accounts at any given time, as well as a record of the city's assets, liabilities, expenditures, surplus, and revenues. This information is organized by city department.

Treasury records include one book of receipts and three ledgers, each documenting receipts and disbursements.
