Scope and Content
This series contains a docket used by the court clerk to track civil and criminal cases heard by the court. Docket books log actions taken in individual cases; and may contain the case name, dates actions were taken on the case through related filings, and outcomes of the given case. This docket served a similar function to what courts later called "registers of actions."

The district court for Tooele County inherited the book in this series when the probate court ceased operation in 1896. The clerk of the district court transferred the book to the State Archives in September 2023.
